Payroll Upgrade 2010 – Advance Information

Phase One of the 2010 Payroll Upgrade project covers the legislative changes required to complete the 2009/10 Tax Year, including P14/P60s and End of Year returns via the Online Filing Manager to the Government Gateway. Phase Two would cover any changes resulting from the Budget which are normally implemented in May.

This applies to Opera II only as there will be NO Payroll update for Opera 16 this year. If you still use Opera 16 Payroll Please contact us for options.

Are you ready for the change back?

1st January 2010 will see the reintroduction of 17.5% VAT as the standard rate of VAT.

For sales of standard-rated goods or services that take place on or after 1st January 2010 businesses should charge VAT at the new rate of 17.5%.
